Group 3 Power Wheelchairs for individuals who require complex positioning needs. These Power Wheelchairs can have features such as Power Tilt and Recline, Power Elevating Legrests, Seat Elevation, and Standing. Skin Protection Positioning, Custom Contoured, and Custom Molded seating can be added. They are available through insurance and private pay.

Group 2 Power Wheelchairs for individuals who are not able to ambulate and cannot self propel with a manual wheelchair. Skin Protection Positioning Cushions can be added. They are available through insurance and private pay.

Tilt-in-Space Manual Wheelchair for individuals who need extra positioning and who are not able to relieve pressure on their seated surface to prevent skin breakdown or need to be tilted due to poor trunk control and fatigue. Skin Protection Positioning, Custom Contoured, and Custom Molded seating can be added. They are available through insurance and private pay.

Ultra Light-weight Manual Wheelchairs for individuals who do not need a power wheelchair, but  due to weakness or upper extremity injuries require a lighter wheelchair to be able to self propel. They do have the capability to be adjusted and modified to meet the individual's needs. Skin Protection Positioning, Custom Contoured, and Custom Molded seating can be added. They are available through insurance and private pay.

Custom Medical has been successful in providing qualifying clients with the Jaco Robotic Arm. This state of the art technology allows clients to become completely independent with simple tasks like drinking from a cup, feeding themselves, turning on a light switch, and opening a door. Before obtaining the Robotic arm they were totally dependent on a caregiver for these basic needs

Rehab shower chairs provide safe, supportive seating for individuals who need assistance with bathing. Designed for comfort and accessibility, they help reduce the risk of falls and make hygiene routines easier for both users and caregivers.

Standard Wheelchairs are available in the Grand Rapids area through insurance, private pay, or short term retail rental. Knee Scooters are available for retail rental only.

Custom Medical will perform repairs and maintenance to your equipment when requested. This will require a once-a-year repair note from the doctor and in most cases, approval from insurance.

Rehab Shower/Commode Chairs, Enclosed Medical Safety Beds, Gait Trainers, Standing Frame, Strollers, Car Seats, and Floor Sitters are available through insurance and private pay.

Lift Chairs and Mobility Scooters are private pay or waiver only.
